Recovery Signals
Recovery signals include sleep quality, morning energy, soreness, mood, motivation, appetite, and stress. They explain why the same workout can feel easy one week and heavy the next.
Poor recovery patterns are useful information, especially when paired with training load, caffeine timing, alcohol awareness, stress, and sleep opportunity.
Persistent sleep problems, severe fatigue, mood changes, or breathing concerns during sleep should be discussed with a qualified professional.
